Six Hundred Trucks

Six Hundred Trucks

Six hundred trucks a day

For a hundred days

no more excuses

no more bullshit

just food driven

right through the middle

of the Gaza strip

Six hundred trucks a day

For a hundred days

let each country

who’s people unanimously

wants to stop the starvation

donate ten trucks

open the border

put down the guns

let all the hostages go

Six hundred trucks a day

For a hundred days

no more photo ops

of rubble playgrounds

cities of sand

flesh and bones

puffed up pundits

playing chess

with the lives of humans

Six hundred trucks a day

For a hundred days

hunger is hunger

starvation is starvation

let the love and nourishment

act as a wave of healing

criminals and terrorists

put on your civilian clothes

because there is no way to

steal what just keeps coming

Six hundred trucks a days

For a hundred days

that can’t be stopped

by bullies and extremists

by drones or bullets

wheels of faith

mowing down gates

moving north to south

caravanning east to west

Six hundred trucks a day

For a hundred days

filled with food

life and liberation

too many witnesses

too many protests

too many hearts and minds

Six hundred trucks a day

For a hundred days

bring me the keys

I will drive.

  1. Thank you, Zack, for your heart and words.
    They move me.
    They matter.
    You matter.

    No more puffy pundits.
5,000 x 100 is not impossible to feed.
